About BobaRO

BobaRO is a Pre-Renewal mid-rates Ragnarok Online private server built for an international community. We focus on delivering a faithful Pre-Renewal experience with quality-of-life improvements, a fair economy, and an active, friendly player base. Whether you are a returning veteran or completely new to Ragnarok Online, BobaRO offers a balanced environment where skill and dedication are rewarded.

The server runs on the rAthena emulator with a Pre-Renewal configuration. All classes, skills, and game mechanics follow the classic Pre-Renewal formulas—no Renewal stat overhauls, no third classes, just the RO you remember.

Max Level

The maximum levels on BobaRO are Base Level 99 and Job Level 70 for all classes, including Transcendent (rebirth) classes.

Rebirth is available once you reach Base Level 99 and Job Level 50 on a second class. Speak with the Rebirth NPC to transcend into a High Novice and begin your journey again with access to powerful Transcendent skills.

Custom Features

BobaRO includes several custom systems and quality-of-life features on top of the classic Pre-Renewal experience:

  • Battle Pass System — Complete daily and weekly missions to earn exclusive rewards, headgears, and consumables through a tiered reward track.
  • Custom Headgears — Unique BobaRO headgears obtainable through quests, events, and the Battle Pass.
  • Battleground System — Queue-based PvP with team modes. Earn BG points and exchange them for equipment and supplies.
  • Custom Instances — Special dungeon instances for groups and solo players with unique loot tables.
  • War of Emperium (WoE) — Scheduled guild siege events for castle ownership and God Item materials.
  • Autotrade — Use @autotrade to keep your merchant vending while you are offline.
  • Autoloot — Automatically pick up drops with @autoloot. No more missing loot.
  • Anti-Killsteal Protection — Use @noks to prevent others from killing your targeted monsters.
  • Card Recycler — Trade unwanted cards for a chance at better ones.
  • Cash Shop — Cosmetic and convenience items available through the Item Shop.
  • Voting Rewards — Vote for the server and earn points to spend in-game.

Available Commands

The following @commands are available to all players. Type them directly in the chat window in-game.

Information Commands

@rates Display the current server EXP and drop rates.
@time Show the current server time.
@mobinfo [monster] Display detailed information about a monster (stats, drops, EXP). Shortcut: @mi
@iteminfo [item] Display information about an item (type, weight, price). Shortcut: @ii
@whodrops [item] Show which monsters drop a specific item and the drop rates.
@whereis [monster] Show the spawn locations (maps) for a specific monster.
@showexp Toggle the EXP-per-kill display in your chat window. Useful for comparing leveling efficiency.
@jailtime Check your remaining jail time (if applicable).

Utility Commands

Command Description
@autoloot [rate] Automatically pick up items that drop. Specify a rate (1–100) to only pick up items at or above that drop percentage. Use @autoloot 100 to loot everything.
@alootid +[id] Add a specific item ID to your auto-loot list. Only those items will be picked up.
@alootid -[id] Remove a specific item ID from your auto-loot list.
@storage Open your Kafra storage from anywhere.
@autotrade Stay online as a merchant while you log off. Your character continues vending automatically. Shortcut: @at
@noks Enable anti-killsteal protection. Other players cannot attack monsters you are already fighting.
@request [message] Send a message directly to online GMs for assistance or to report issues.

Warp Command

Use @go [number] to instantly warp to major towns. The available destinations are:

Server Rules

All players are expected to follow these rules. Violations may result in warnings, temporary muting, jailing, or permanent bans depending on the severity and frequency of the offense.

  1. No botting or macros. Any form of automation, including keyboard/mouse macros, third-party botting software, or AFK farming scripts, is strictly prohibited. This includes auto-clickers and programmable controllers.
  2. No exploiting bugs. If you discover a bug, exploit, or unintended mechanic, report it to the GM team immediately using @request or through Discord. Knowingly exploiting bugs will result in a ban.
  3. No real-money trading (RMT). Selling or buying in-game items, accounts, zeny, or services for real-world currency is not allowed.
  4. Respect other players. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, and excessive toxicity are not tolerated. Keep conversations civil.
  5. No advertising other servers. Promoting or discussing other Ragnarok Online private servers in-game or on our community platforms is prohibited.
  6. English in main chat channels. Use English in public chat channels (#main, #trade) so that all players can understand. Other languages are welcome in private messages, party, and guild chat.
  7. GM decisions are final. If you disagree with a GM ruling, you may appeal through the proper channels on Discord, but arguing with GMs in-game is not productive and may result in further action.
  8. No account sharing. Each player should maintain their own accounts. Account sharing is done at your own risk—you are responsible for any actions taken on your account.
Ban Policy
First offenses for minor rules (4–6) typically result in a warning or temporary mute. Major offenses (1–3) may result in an immediate permanent ban depending on severity. Repeat offenders will face escalating punishments.
